Getting Started with Dialogflow Configuration:

1. Project ID Retrieval:
– Log in to the Dialogflow ES console at dialogflow.cloud.google.com using your Google account.
– Click the gear icon near the chatbot name and access settings. Create a chatbot if needed.
– Copy the Project ID from the settings.
– Ensure you choose US / GLOBAL at the top left of the Dialogflow dashboard. Note that our system does not support mega agents.

2. Dialogflow CX Agent Name:
– Access the Dialogflow CX console at https://dialogflow.cloud.google.com/cx/.
– Select the desired project and navigate to the agents page (Agents > View all agents).
– Click the options menu for the agent and copy the agent name.
– More details at:
https://cloud.google.com/dialogflow/cx/
docs/quick/api#detect-intent-drest.

3. Setting Location:
– Optionally, set the location or region for your Dialogflow agent. This is needed if not set to global.

4. Welcome Intent Setup:
– Activate the Dialogflow Welcome Intent for new visitors. Ensure Settings > Messages > Welcome message is enabled.

5. User Details Integration:
– Send user details from registration forms and email-rich messages to Dialogflow.

6. Integrating Intents:
– Include Dialogflow Intents in saved replies. Access this through AiX >  Settings > Admin > Saved replies.

7. Creating a Basic Chatbot:
– If you’re new, follow online tutorials to create and configure your Dialogflow bot.
– To start, create an agent in the Dialogflow console using the same project as during synchronization.
– Add a new Intent from the left menu and open it.
– In Training phrases, add user questions for the bot to respond to. Add variants for flexibility.
– In Responses, add the bot’s answer as a text response.
– Test the setup from the AiX. Populate more Intents for specific Q&A scenarios.

Pro Tip: Enable the Small Talk feature from the left menu to include basic pre-built questions and answers in your bot.
